Daniel Bernhardt portrays Gamarra's
(Chris DeRose) chief henchman
Vincent in "Desire." Vincent hates
Louis (Nate Haden) vehemently, in
part, because he is secretly in love
with Cara (Kelly Albanese).
Bernhardt was born and raised in
Bern, Switzerland, with his two
brothers and parents. He earned a
degree in Technical Engineering and
worked as an apprentice in this
field before moving to Paris, where
he was discovered by a modeling
agent. He had a successful modeling
career for top designers such as
Versace, Montana and Mugler and has
appeared in many fashion magazines,
including Vogue, GQ and Elle.
Bernhardt's modeling career
relocated him to the United States,
where he began to pursue acting and
has co-starred in features films
such as "The Matrix Reloaded,"
alongside Keanu Reeves and Laurence
Fishburne, the thriller "The Cutter"
opposite Chuck Norris and starred in
the television series "Mortal Kombat
Conquest" with Jaime Pressly and Eva
Mendes. He recently wrote, directed
and produced the short film "Fetch."
Currently residing in Beverly Hills
with his wife and daughter,
Bernhardt is a martial arts
enthusiast who also enjoys hiking,
photography and literature.
